Tasks
- Platform Administration: Handle daily management of Jira Cloud and Confluence, including user management, permission schemes, project setups, and space organization.
- Operational Support: Offer 2nd-level support for Jira and Confluence issues, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with vendors or 3rd-level support when necessary.
- Configuration Management: Set up and maintain workflows, custom fields, screens, automation rules, and dashboards based on user needs.
- Plugin & App Management: Oversee and assess Atlassian Marketplace apps, ensuring they are compatible and perform well within the environment.
- Change & Release Management: Assist with change management tasks, including testing and deploying updates or new configurations in a controlled way.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track system performance and usage, create reports, and deliver insights to enhance platform efficiency.
- Documentation & Training: Keep documentation current and provide user training or guidance on best practices and platform functionality.
- Security & Compliance: Maintain compliance with internal policies and security standards, including regular audits of permissions and access controls.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that boost collaboration and productivity.
Expectations
- Hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud and Confluence in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of Atlassian administration, including workflows, permissions, and automation.
- Familiarity with user support processes and ITSM practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize operational needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
