Tasks
The Banking Data Analyst acts as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, translating business needs into high-quality data and BI solutions. The role bridges business, data, and technology by analyzing banking processes, designing data features aligned with architectural standards, and supporting the full implementation lifecycle within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner for business representatives and collaborate closely with stakeholders
- Identify and analyze business needs, translating them into high-level BI and data features
- Analyze current business processes and data flows, and design feature solutions aligned with system architecture standards and business expectations
- Define feature acceptance criteria and design QA testing strategies and plans
- Document technical implementation steps and support ETL developers during development and QA validation phases
- Participate actively in feature refinement, testing, and validation
- Continuously learn, innovate, and contribute creative ideas to improve data solutions
Expectations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of banking products and processes
- Basic knowledge of Data Management principles
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) architecture, including physical structures, data integration, and reporting
- Strong experience with Oracle SQL or Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate certification
- Good knowledge of PL/SQL, including analysis and debugging of packages, triggers, procedures, and functions
- Understanding of BI / IT solution implementation lifecycle
