Tasks
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Industry/Market Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data on market trends, industry developments, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the business by conducting market analysis on industry trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders across departments.
- Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and technological changes relevant to the industry.
- Use forecasting models and scenario analysis to project future trends and market dynamics
- Develop critical analysis of all available information to make sense of the evolutions of the market, and when possible, to predict further movements and respond to business challenges within the business.
- Be able to visually present and explain the market share and size numbers to a large audience.
- Handle operational tasks, maintaining and updating internal tools; be able to align and consolidate different datasets
- Be able to work with large datasets from different sources as well as manage connections and updates to our internal database
Expectations
- Strong analytical mindset with proven business intelligence and reporting experience.
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with other BI tools preferred.
- Skilled in process development: organization, progress tracking, issue resolution, documentation, communication, and change management.
- Proficient in data visualization and simplifying complex information into clear written and graphical formats.
- Some database knowledge preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Typically 4+ years’ experience in business, strategy, planning, operations, finance, or a related functional area.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
