Join our prestigous client working in the IT services industry and work on international projects!
Tasks
- Design and implement ETL processes using AWS Glue.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists, technical leads and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.
- Monitor and manage AWS Glue jobs and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to leverage them in solutions.
Expectations
- 3-5 years/5+ years (for seniors) years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Experience with AWS Glue, including Glue ETL jobs, Glue Data Catalog, and Glue Crawlers.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Athena, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
- Job orchestration and Scheduling: AWS Glue workflows, AWS Step Functions.
- Strong knowledge of Python/PySpark.
- Expertise in SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of Python or Scala for ETL scripting.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Experience with data integration and transformation tools.
