Tasks
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Romanian accounting standards (O.M.F.P.) and group reporting requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Develop and maintain key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful reports to management.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements in Romania.
- Manage relationships with local tax authorities, auditors, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all statutory reports, tax returns, and other mandatory submissions.
Financial Control and Risk Management:
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Treasury and Cash Management:
- Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Oversee banking relationships and manage bank accounts.
- Process payments and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Business Partnering:
- Provide financial support and guidance to other departments, including sales, operations, and marketing.
- Collaborate on business initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute financial expertise.
Expectations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CECCAR) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting standards (O.M.F.P.) and local tax regulations.

- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
