Tasks
- Develop IT systems covering various aspects of the business run by client's Fixed Income division.
- Work closely with business users to learn financial products and market concepts.
- Participate in every stage of the lifecycle of an IT system — from gathering requirements and refining user stories, through designing solutions and writing code, to supporting users.
- Work on a diverse technology landscape involving various programming languages (Java, Scala, Python), data management systems, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Contribute to solving a wide range of technical and business problems — from developing high-throughput, resilient data integration and feeding solutions to regulatory scenario calculations requested by the Market Risk Department.
Expectations
- OOP design skills with an understanding or personal interest in Functional Programming concepts.
- Strong Java or Scala skills, 5+ years of experience.
- Spring knowledge is an advantage, but willingness to learn and enhance in-house frameworks is essential.
- Prior experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, pull requests, JIRA, and Scrum/Agile methodology is an advantage.
