Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based microservices in a distributed architecture.
- Build and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with AWS cloud services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) or other major cloud providers.
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical standards, and improve system architecture.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to best practices.
Expectations
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including 3+ years with Golang.
- Strong background in microservices and distributed systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience designing and building API‑driven systems.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Good understanding of security principles in distributed applications.
- Strong communication skills in a remote environment.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, short‑term project setup.
