Tasks
Overview
o Work as a Magik software engineer embedded in a Scrum team contributing to team ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, showcases and retrospectives.
o Deliver unit tests for production code meeting a minimum of 80% coverage.
o All work shall comply with GridOS engineering development standards.
o The target domains for this program are Electric and Telecoms and the focus will be on the integration of GridOS Field workflows with the Smallworld PNI and Electric Office products. These developers will be working primarily on the extraction and ingestion of data from and to Smallworld PNI and Electric Office. There will also be work in extending the abstracted data model required to support the different workflows.
Expectations
Key responsibilities
o Develop product capabilities to enable Magik services to run within the GridOS platform +3 years
o Expertise writing and maintaining well tested, high-quality code based on expert understanding of coding best practices, design patterns and automation.
o Deliver unit tests for production code meeting a minimum of 80% coverage
o All work shall comply with GridOS engineering development standards.
o Primary skillset: Magik, PNI, Electric Office
o Secondary skillset: SSM, Java, Smallworld Geospatial Services (GSS)
