They are continually striving for further success with the assistance of a dedicated workforce, so their Digitalization and IT Department is now expanding to better support global projects and core activities.
Tasks
- Lead IT infrastructure design, implementation, and governance across various national organizations with differing digital maturity levels.
- Develop and execute a unified Governance and Support Model to ensure the efficient deployment and operation of IT systems.
- Plan and oversee cloud migration projects, primarily within Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.
- Establish and maintain a robust security framework to enhance the resilience and compliance of IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to align IT solutions with organizational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership in cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Manage a small team and coordinate with external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Adapt to diverse IT environments and assist national organizations in optimizing their digital capabilities.
- Travel as required, particularly during initial implementation phases (potentially 2-3 weeks on-site within a 2-3 month period).

- Fluent English (spoken & written)
Advantages
- Experience in the development, implementation, and operative management of
- Cybersecurity functions (CSIRT/SOC/SecOps/IDR/DR) and services.
- Experience in managing teams in a supervisory role.
- Experience in working in global south countries.
- Ability and willingness to travel for up to three weeks at a time, multiple times a year to countries in the global south.
- Good command of another IFRC official language (French, Spanish, or Arabic).
