Introduction

Our partner is the world's largest humanitarian network, which has been carrying out its activities successfully around the world for more than 100 years. They are continuously working on further succession with the help of a dedicated workforce, so their Digitalization and IT Department is now expanding to further support global projects and core activities.

Tasks

The Supply Chain Demand Planning and Coordination plays a key role in strengthening the organization’s transition toward anticipatory, demand-driven, and risk-informed supply chain planning. The role supports global logistics preparedness by consolidating demand forecasts, aligning procurement and replenishment cycles, and coordinating planning across a global humanitarian network.

The position is based in Budapest.

  • Develop and maintain global demand forecasting processes for humanitarian preparedness and emergency response
  • Consolidate demand inputs from regional hubs and partner organizations into a global demand plan
  • Translate forecasts into supply and replenishment strategies
  • Support scenario planning for potential crises and preparedness planning
  • Facilitate demand–supply coordination meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve supply chain data visibility through platforms such as SPARK and ERP systems
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards related to supply chain performance
  • Support training and knowledge sharing on forecasting and supply planning tools

Expectations

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or logistics
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems, data platforms, or BI tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Advantages

  • Experience in humanitarian logistics or international organizations
  • Familiarity with forecasting models or advanced analytics tools
  • Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Arabic
