Our partner is the world's largest humanitarian network, which has been carrying out its activities successfully around the world for more than 100 years. They are continuously working on further succession with the help of a dedicated workforce, so their Digitalization and IT Department is now expanding to further support global projects and core activities.

Tasks

  • Manage the 2nd/3rd level Infrastructure and Security Operations team, acting as the escalation point and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Assess, plan, and monitor resources to meet both operational and project demands.
  • Ensure ITIL-based processes, change management, and continuous improvement in infrastructure and security operations.
  • Conduct market research to propose new tools and methods to improve IT operational efficiency.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and ensure technical governance and control over infrastructure and security services.
  • Monitor and manage CAPEX/OPEX, seek cost-efficient improvements, and reduce technical debt.
  • Collaborate on global security programs and align infrastructure and security strategies with business goals.
  • Lead risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and cybersecurity incident response, ensuring recovery processes are in place.
  • Contribute to global infrastructure and security standards, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support IT projects by defining requirements, managing integration with the PMO, and applying best practices.
  • Manage vendor performance, review SLAs, and ensure competitive and reliable service delivery.
  • Lead procurement, manage invoicing and contracts, and plan infrastructure and security roadmaps to meet organizational standards.
  • Provide staff leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities, collaborating with HR to recruit and manage employees.
  • Foster teamwork, effective communication, and conflict resolution within the team.
  • Ensure alignment with our partner's goals, adhere to their principles, and handle additional duties as assigned.

Expectations

Education: Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Certifications: ITIL, MCSA/MCSE (Server and Cloud Infrastructure), and Information Systems Security certification (or willingness to acquire).

Experience:

  • 10+ years in data center management and Windows Server administration, including failover clustering.
  • 5+ years in designing and implementing secure, highly available systems and managing enterprise-grade firewall/IDS/IPS, with knowledge of SD-WAN and APM.
  • 3+ years in hybrid cloud infrastructure management (O365, AzureAD, etc.) and extensive networking knowledge (OSI, TCP/UDP, CIDR/VLSM, etc.).
  • Proven experience in ethical hacking, risk assessments, and incident hunting on Microsoft and third-party platforms.
  • Strong business management experience in procurement (RFP/RFI), contract negotiations, and service delivery.
  • Leadership experience managing cybersecurity services (CSIRT/SOC/SecOps/IDR/DR) and teams.
  • Proficient in service delivery management and reporting tools.
